IEBC meets presidential candidates over polls

NAIROBI, KENYA: The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission is currently meeting all presidential candidates at a Nairobi hotel to brief them over preparations for March 4 elections.
IEBC is expected to brief the presidential candidates, their running mates and the agents on the electoral code of conduct they are expected to adhere to and penalties if they break the rules.
The candidates will also be briefed on electronic vote transmission, status of voter registers, the polling process, security and voter registration.
CORD presidential candidate Raila Odinga, his running mate Kalonzo Musyoka, Jubilee Alliance flag bearer Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto are in attendance.
Also present are Eagle Alliance candidate Peter Kenneth, Martha Karua of Narc, Musalia Mudavadi (Amani), James Ole Kiyiapi (RPK), Paul Muite (Safina),  Mohammed  Dida (Alliance for Real Change) and their running mates.
