I will force RAILA ODINGA to keep his promises - KALONZO vows

Thursday February 7, 2013 - Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka has urged Kenyans to vote for Coalition for Reform and Democracy (CORD), saying it is the best alliance able to transform the country.

Addressing a campaign rally at Simitsi market in Malava constituency on Wednesday, Kalonzo said that he would ensure CORD’s Presidential flag bearer Raila Odinga fulfils his promises if he becomes the President on March 5th.

“Those who have fears about a Raila’s Presidency should not worry as I will be right there to nag him to deliver what he promised Kenyans,” Kalonzo said.

Kalonzo, who is Raila’s running mate, said their Jubilee Alliance counterparts cannot be trusted with leadership of this country because they are fugitives of the International Criminal Court (ICC).

He said Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta and Eldoret North MP William Ruto lied to Amani coalition Presidential candidate by promising to support his bid but later disowned him.

The VP urged the Luhya community to re-think their strategy of supporting Mudavadi, saying they will be left out of the government if CORD coalition forms the next government.
