The government has warned civil servants against engaging in partisan politics ahead of the March 4 General Election.
The Head of the Civil Service Francis Kimemia said Tuesday the officials risk dismissal if found culpable.
Mr Kimemia said those directly involved "will face instant suspension and even dismissal while those who attempt doing it will be interdicted".
The Office of the President has asked politicians to forward names of civil servants whom they claim are campaigning for certain individuals.
Mr Kimemia said the government will not tolerate the partisan participation of civil servants in present day politics.
He, however, warned that wild and baseless accusations would "be ignored all together".
Mr Kimemia is also expected to issue measures on the disciplinary action to be taken on those found guilty.
“We should follow the right procedures and stop throwing around words recklessly. All I am saying to the politicians give us the names of these people and we will act," he said.
"And to civil servants tell us which politicians have asked you to campaign for them."
