The Coalition for Reforms and Democracy presidential flag-bearer Raila Odinga has asked Kenyans to elect leaders focused on the full implementation of the Constitution.
The Prime Minister said the Cord coalition was carrying the liberation agenda and was determined to rid the country of all forms of inequalities.
“The Cord alliance has the will and capability to change the leadership of this country and offer lasting solutions to problems bedevilling us,” Mr Odinga said.
He was speaking during rallies at Tunyai in Tharaka Nithi County, Mikinduri in Tigania East constituency, Meru County, and at Maili Tatu in Igembe South District.
Mr Odinga also exuded confidence of a landslide win in the March 4 General Election which is a first under the new Constitution.
At Maili Tatu, Mr Odinga stated that some of the rival coalitions had people who were earlier opposed to the new Constitution.
The PM said there were leaders who cheated Kenyans abortion and gay marriages would be legalised and people’s land would be taken if they voted for the Constitution.
He said the same people were now lying to Kenyans that they would bring change.
The ODM party leader urged Kenyans to come out in large numbers to vote for him as he would ensure the Constitution was fully implemented.
“With Cord, you can be rest assured we shall implement the Constitution to the letter,” he said.
Mr Odinga asked Kenyans to elect leaders with an impeccable track record and said the Cord leadership would champion the unity of all people.
The Prime Minister appealed to the public to support his candidature and that of ODM candidates in a ‘six-piece suit’ voting style.
He blamed the biting poverty in some parts of the country to bad leadership and promised to address the issue if he was elected.
His running mate Kalonzo Musyoka pitched camp in Chuka and Marimanti in Tharaka Nithi County where he drummed up support for the coalition.
