Bett ON CORD DISRUPTION IN EMBU

I have learnt with great disappointment that while on his vote hunting mission in Embu today, the CORD Presidential Candidate Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga had his campaign rally disrupted by people who are anti change and have no room for fresh ideas.

This is the greatest height of indiscipline and a lack of respect by those involved in the incident.
Mr. Odinga just like any other Presidential candidate in Kenya has a right to tour any part of this country to ask for votes.

Such acts of violence are unacceptable in the Kenya of today and should be condemned by all and sundry.

The CORD urges its supporters across the country to welcome our opponents warmly and accord them the respect they deserve. CORD stands for peace and democracy and we shall uphold the same during this electioneering period.
Thanks.

Hon. Franklin Bett, EGH.
Chairman CORD National Coordinating Committee.
