UHURU KENYATTA’s TNA extends party nominations to TOMORROW




Thursday, the 17th of January 2013 -News just in indicates that The National Alliance (TNA) party has extended its party nomination exercise to tomorrow in areas where it has not yet began due to logistical problems.

TNA Chairman Johnson Sakaja said that the party has decided to extend the process to tomorrow due to the fact that they received the voters register late in some areas.

The TNA nomination exercises will however proceed in those areas where it has already begun.

Sakaja also apologized for the inconvenience caused to aspirants and voters but said that the party has decided that the slight discomfort of the delay has to be weighed against the need to ensure a ‘free and fair nomination exercise and not just queuing and voting.’

The TNA Chairman added that the party is committed to ensuring that the nomination exercise will be transparent;

“We want to assure our aspirants that nobody has been favored. We shall ensure transparency in the process.”

Sakaja also said that the party has already booked social halls and church grounds to get around the problem of using school promises tomorrow.

The exercise will now start tomorrow at 6:00 A.M
