REVEALED: UHURU/RUTO paid Sh200-500 per person for Saturday’s Uhuru Park RALLY.

Wednesday January 16, 2013 - The Kenyan DAILY POST has learnt that Jubilee alliance paid between Sh 200-500 per person for people to attend the Jubilee rally on Saturday last week at Uhuru Park grounds.

Several buses and Matatu operators were hired to ferry people from different parts of the city as well as from areas adjacent to the city to make sure Uhuru Park was filled to the brim.

Sources say Embakasi MP Ferdinand Waititu, Nairobi governor aspirant Jimnah Mbaru and Makadara MP Mike Sonko are the ones who financed the logistics of Uhuru Park rally which amounted to millions of shillings.

The three leaders had vowed to prove to those who do not believe Jubilee coalition’s claim that it is most popular political outfit in Nairobi!

The Jubilee coalition is associated with Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta and Eldoret North MP William Ruto.
