By Standard Team
NAIROBI, KENYA: Former town clerk Phillip Kisia has left ODM party where he was contesting for the Governor seat.
Though he is yet to make a formal announcement, sources say he was told to bow out in favor of Dr Evans Kidero.
Outgoing Starehe MP Margaret Wanjiru had also indicated that she would contest for the post on an ODM ticket, but her fate is unknown as shadows have been cast on her education qualifications.
Meanwhile, ODM aspiring governor Evans Kidero cast his vote at Pumwani social hall exuding confidence to emerge victorious in the primaries.
His rivals Margaret Wanjiru and Philip Kisia names were however missing in the ballot.
Kidero called for calm even as voting across Nairobi county delayed for several hours.
Names of two TNA aspirants were also missing form the ballot papers in Makutano Ward, Eldama Ravine Constituency.
