We cannot join UHURU and RUTO - MOI

Monday November 12, 2012 - KANU national chairman Gideon Moi has maintained that his party is not interested in joining an alliance associated with Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta and Eldoret North William Ruto.

Speaking in Mogotio town while receiving area legislator Hellen Sambili to the party, Moi said KANU will only work with like-minded but not tribal groupings.

Moi said KANU had agreed to support Ruto before he started alliance talks with the The National Alliance (TNA) party leader Uhuru Kenyatta.

“Uhuru is responsible for the collapse of the KANU party and we cannot join that coalition,” Gideon said.

Moi, who is former Baringo Central MP, said he would go for the top seat in 2017, saying

“I will not accept anything less than State House”
