We are NOT going for anything less than PRESIDENCY - KAMBA leaders

Friday November 23, 2012 - A section of Kamba MPs have said the Kamba community is not going for anything less than the Presidency in the forthcoming poll.

Mwala MP Daniel Muoki, his Kaiti Counterpart Gideon Ndambuki, Chairman of the Masaku County Council, Christopher Maundu and former government spokesman, Alfred Mutua said the community will not be hoodwinked by Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto in accepting small posts in their coalition.

They also expressed dissent on the planned Kamba meeting in Lukenya by Uhuru Kenyatta where they distanced themselves from the meeting scheduled to endorse Uhuru Kenyatta for Presidency in the area.

The leaders reminded conveners of the meeting that the community was not ready for a coalition between Uhuru and Ruto and therefore bringing in somebody else other than Kalonzo for Presidential endorsement was betrayal of the highest order.
