UHURU KENYATTA meets South Sudan President Salva Kiir

Monday, 12th of November 2012 - The Kenyan DAILY POST has learnt that Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta is currently meeting South Sudan President Salva Kiir Mayardit in Juba.

The TNA aspirant is visiting the young republic in the company of other Kenyan dignitaries like Eugene Wamalwa, Charity Ngilu, Naomi Shaaban, Najib Balala, Kiema Kilonzo and Musikari Kombo.

The visit to South Sudan is part of Uhuru’s ‘meet and greet’ tour of East African countries.

He has so far visited Tanzannia, Rwanda, Uganda and Burundi.  The tour is designed to create the impression that Kenya’s ‘friends in the East African community’ will not abandon the country even if it elects Uhuru as PRESIDENT.
