RAILA ODINGA’s master plan to win RIFT VALLEY votes back

Friday November 16, 2012 - Prime Minister Raila Odinga has developed a master plan that will beat his rivals hands down in winning the vast Rift Valley vote, DAILY POST has established.

The PM, who is known to be a brilliant political architect, is now using athletes and professionals to win back the Kalenjin community who voted him overwhelmingly during the 2007 general election.

About ten athletes including David Rudisha, Ezekiel Kemboi and Pamela Jelimo have been contacted by Sports Minister Ababu Namwamba to help the PM in campaigning in the area perceived to be Eldoret North MP William Ruto’s backyard.

The PM’s efforts to enter into a pre-election deal with the Eldoret North lawmaker hit a snag and he has decided to negotiate with professionals, athletes and key political point men.

Tinderet MP Henry Kosgei has been appointed by the PM as the grassroots campaigner who will be in charge of visiting homes of prominent athletes and professionals in the region.
