Raila most trusted presidential candidate: Poll

The polls were conducted mainly among the youth
Prime Minister Raila Odinga remains the most trusted presidential candidate according to a poll released by Infotrak Research and Consulting Ltd stating that 36 percent of the youth would support his presidential bid.
The polls conducted mainly among the youth also show the premier as the most inspirational aspirant and the one likely to deliver a better country.
Deputy Prime minister Uhuru Kenyatta came in second with 24 percent of the youth vote.
Musalia Mudavadi and Eldoret North Member of Parliament William Ruto emerged third with 10 percent each as the most trusted candidates with the ability to unite Kenyans.
Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka garnered 8 percent. Kenya National Congress presidential aspirant Peter Kenneth appears to be the biggest gainer, with a 4.6 percent youth vote.
Narc Kenya's Martha Karua would attract a 4.5 percent while New Ford Kenya's Eugene Wamalwa would garner 2.8 percent.
On how the respondents felt about who was best suited to deliver on implementation of the constitution, the prime minister garnered 41% , Uhuru got  22 percent, while Mudavadi and Ruto garnered 9 and 7 percent respectively.
And on President Mwai Kibaki's term which is soon coming to an end, the youth will remember him for three key development issues among them infrastructure development, free primary education and the new constitution. 
The poll was conducted between October the 29th and 1st November this year, among 1500 respondents, out of which 983 were youth from across the country.
However, there are key issues the youth would like the government to address including unemployment which ranks top, insecurity, corruption, poverty and tribalism.
In the poll conducted between  29th October and 1st of November Raila emerged tops with 35.4per cent though his popularity declined by a 2.6 percentage points since February this year. 
Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta came in  second best with 24% of the 1,500 people surveyed voting for him.
Eldoret North MP William Ruto came in third with 10.3 percent while  Deputy Prime Minister Musalia Mudavadi got 10 percent support from the respondents.
The poll further showed that Musalia and Uhuru were the main gainers since February this year at 7percent and 6 percent respectively February this year at 7percent and 6 percent respectively.
Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka, NARC-Kenya presidential aspirant Martha Karua and Peter Kenneth and Eugene Wamalwa garnered 8.8, 4.3, 2 and 1.3 percentage points respectively.
