Friday November 23, 2012 - Barely a day after the mooted alliance between Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka and Deputy Prime Minister Musalia Mudavadi took its foot, the latter has hinted that he is ready to form an alliance with Energy Minister Kiraitu Murungi.
Speaking after he met 400 professionals from Meru County on Thursday, the United Democratic Forum (UDF) party leader Musalia Mudavadi said they have held several meetings with Kiraitu Murungi (who has since severed links with Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta).
Meanwhile, Mudavadi who is also the Sabatia MP still maintained that he will not go for a lesser seat other than the Presidency.
Mudavadi has of late been dilly dallying on the formation of the alliance and up to now he has not made his stand known on which side of the alliance he stands for.
