Mike Brown celebrated leaving the Lakers at Chick-fil-A (PHOTO)

Getting fired is almost never fun, no matter the deposed party's position or financial forecast. A firing is essentially a repudiation of a person's abilities, a clear statement that someone is believed not to be up to the job at hand. It stinks.
However, it's much easier to tolerate when the firing organization owes that person a ton of money and holding the job in question resulted in a family member receiving threats. In that case, getting fired can be something of a relief.
So, hours after he was let go by the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday, embattled coach Mike Brown relaxed by going to a local Chick-fil-A restaurant for a delicious chicken sandwich. As you can see in the photo above (via TMZ), Brown seems to be in perfectly good spirits following his dismissal.
It probably does not hurt that Brown had roughly $11 million left on the $18 million deal he signed with the Lakers last summer. They'll be paying him for a while. This chicken sandwich was only the first of many.
