Thursday November 22, 2012-United States President Barrack Obama’s grandmother Mama Sarah Obama has urged more women to take leadership positions in the March 4th General Election.
Addressing a group of women at her home on Wednesday, the matriarch stressed that gone are days when the woman belonged to the kitchen and in bed only.
Mama Sarah Obama, who is preparing to go to United States to witness her grandson’s swearing ceremenony,exuded confidence that more women will be elected as Governors, Senators and Members of Parliament .
“When you are elected you must be accountable to the people who took you there” Mama Sarah Obama said.
