Sunday November 18, 2012 - Narc-Kenya Presidential hopeful Martha Karua has dismissed remarks by a section of ODM MPs that she will join ODM and become Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s running mate in the forthcoming general election.
In tough rejoinder on Saturday evening, Karua, who is also the Gichugu MP, said she will not bow to any pressure to enter in pre-election alliances with any party.
She argued that the alliance formation was not in the interest of the country but for selfish individual interests.
“The current debate on who is joining who is in consequential and will not change the lives of ordinary Kenyans,” Karua said
She expressed optimism that on 5th March next year, she will make history by becoming the first female President of the Republic of Kenya.
