Friday, November 23, 2012 - Kenya’s award winning comedian Eric Omondi who has now become the face of comedy in Kenya is headed for the United Kingdom to perform. Omondi will be making his debut tour abroad where he is set to make several performances.
According to sources Omondi left the country at the beginning of the week for London to start his tour. This came after Daniel Ndambuki a.k.a. Churchill alias Mwalimu King’ang’i also made two performances for the launching of Barclays money transfer system in London.
Seems Kenyan comedians are becoming popular with Kenyans in the Diaspora as they have formally invited him to London as Churchill who is Omondi’s mentor was nominated for this year’s Achiever’s Award for mentoring upcoming talents with Omondi being one of them.
Breaking the news about the tour, Omondi told the media that he is honored and happy that Kenyans in the Diaspora appreciate his talent.
