Friday October 12, 2012 - As the race to the much anticipated general election gathers steam, there have been twists and turns with politicians seeking to hedge their bets by joining popular parties.
However, the reported meeting between Prime Minister Raila Odinga and URP leader William Ruto has left Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta’s camp in panic mode as he was perceived to be supporting the TNA leader.
A top aide of the DPM Uhuru Kenyatta called the media to confirm the Tuesday night meeting.
Upon confirmation of the news that indeed the said meeting actually took place, this is what he had to say.
“How can he do this to us? Let us see how far the talks will go!”
