The National Alliance told off parties claiming Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta will use their tickets for his presidential bid next year. Chairman Johnson Sakaja said: ''Uhuru is in TNA and will seek for the presidency using the party’s ticket only despite endorsements by other parties.''
Dismissing proposals by several parties to have the DPM as their presidential candidate, he said TNA ''is not ready to enter into any coalition''. Sakaja said the parties claiming to have the DPM as their presidential candidate should disband and join TNA. “Any party that wants to support Uhuru Kenyatta in 2013 should dissolve and join TNA party where he is the flag bearer,” he said.
Speaking at the weekend while campaigning for TNA candidate in Kangema September 17 by-election, Tairus Ngahu, Sakaja said: “You cannot say that you support Uhuru and you are in other parties.TNA will not allow that to happen.” The TNA top official at the same time welcomed other likeminded parties to dissolve into TNA saying that this was the only way to ensure that Uhuru’s party will garner enough elective seats in the oncoming general election.
At the same time Sakaja appealed to all TNA nomination losers in Kangema and Kajiado North by elections to stand with the party and also agree to support the winners. He noted that moving to other parties after losing in the nominations would weaking the party. “I appeal to those who lost during the recently concluded TNA nominations in Kangema and Kajiado North not to defect from the party after losing, they should work together with the winners to ensure that the party clinches the seats on September 17,” he said.

  1. Today, I went to the beachfront with my children. I found a sea shell and
gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said "You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear." She put the shell
to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her
ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is entirely off topic but I had to tell someone!
