UHURU Kenyatta SHOCKED as he loses KIRAITU and APK

Tuesday September 18, 2012 - Energy Minister Kiraitu Murungi has said his party the Alliance Party of Kenya (APK), will not associate itself with Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta and Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka in the forthcoming general election.

In a hard hitting statement that seemed to mark a radical shift of allegiances and tone of language against Uhuru and Kalonzo, Kiraitu said,

“From now henceforth, APK will work with those who treat us with respect as equals and not as casual workers who are hired in the morning and fired in the evening .I am happy I have been appointed the captain of APK ship and given the sailing orders….. I shall firmly steer the ship through storms and dock it at the shore,”

“APK is now free to talk to any presidential candidate. We shall talk to Mudavadi and Ruto in an open mind. We shall listen to their ideas and programmes for this country. From now henceforth, APK won’t chase after Kalonzo and Uhuru any more… we are experienced horses and no one should take us for granted…,” Kiraitu said.

During the meeting the Monday meeting, Special Programmes Minister Ester Murugi was picked as a compromise APK chairperson after delegates failed to agree between Muthama and Mathira MP Ephraim Maina who both wanted the acting Chair’s posts.
