They say hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. This may be the case for a daughter of a former MP from Central region who is said to have stabbed a man in the shoulder and hit him with a pan on his head for refusing to take responsibility for her unborn child. The woman and the man have been living in Montreal Canada for almost 10 years. The man, who has been receiving treatment at home, is reluctant to either go to hospital or report the assault to the police for fear that the former MP might hit back at his family in Kenya if the daughter gets into trouble with the Canadian authorities.

Miguna Miguna, a former aide of Prime Minister Raila Odinga, is promising yet another book to ostensibly help Kenyans choose the country's leader in the March 2013 general election. After releasing his memoirs, Peeling Back the Mask, in which he has documented alleged impropriety at the PM’s office, Miguna is working on another book — Dark Corridors of Our Leader to be released on December 16. “It will exclusively unmask the masters of impunity before Kenyans decide!” Miguna said on his Facebook page yesterday.

And still on Miguna, reading his Peeling Back the Mask, one comes across ODM youth George Ayugi alias Mbuta who Miguna claims fought viciously to protect PM Raila's “stolen presidency” at the KICC vote tallying centre in 2007. Corridors has learned that Mbuta is admitted at an undisclosed hospital after losing several teeth and his eye almost gouged out by youths in Kisumu late last month. Mbuta, who is William Ruto's URP assistant national organising secretary, quit ODM  after falling out with top guns.

A few hours after the newly-elected Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud was declared the winner in last week's election, a crack security team took charge of his residence at Nairobi’s South C. However, this has come at a cost to his neighbours. They have to be screened as they leave and enter the gated estate.
