MIGUNA Miguna given a cold war in Thika town

Monday September 3, 2012-Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s aide Miguna Miguna received a cold war after his anticipated promotion of his book Peeling Back the Mask: A Quest for Justice in Kenyafailed to take place in Thika town.

The Thika Arcade venue was changed at the last minute to Jogoo Kimakia Hotel but when Mr Miguna went there he found a church function going at the hall.

Speaking to journalists after the failed launch, Miguna said there was confusion over the booking.

He said the function had been postponed to a date which will be communicated to the press.

“It appears some people do not want the public to attend my meetings,” Miguna said.

Thika town is Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta’s backyard.

Can Miguna blame Raila Odinga for the Thika fiasco?
