Wamalwa dismissed those pushing for an extension of the election date
Justice Minister Eugene Wamalwa maintains that next year's election date will not be changed.
Wamalwa dismissed those pushing for an extension of the election date as misplaced and misleading Kenyans.
The minister asked Kenyans to be prepared for the March 4th 2013 as scheduled and ignore those scheming to push the  elections date to August 2013.
Speaking during the homecoming party of former livestock PS Kenneth Lusaka at Kamukuywa in Bungoma County, Wamalwa urged Kenyans to make right choices when electing leaders.
The Minister was reacting to Deputy Speaker Farah Maalim's remarks that it is impossible to hold the next elections in March.
Mr Maaalim cited delay in procuring Biometric Voter Registration kits, issuance of IDs as reasons why the March 4th poll is impossible.
The New Ford Kenya presidential aspirant maintained that he is in the race for the presidency and urged Kenyans to support his bid pledging that his government will steer up development to improve the livelihood of Kenyans.
