Joshua Sang loses in URP elections

Trans Nzoia senator aspirant Joshua sang over the weekend lost the URP chairman position to Nathan Psiwa. Psiwa and a majority of officials who were elected are allied to Cherangany MP Joshua Kuttuny. Sang, the radio journalist, garnered 28 votes against Psiwa's 63. Sang is among four International Criminal Court suspects of the 2007-08 post-election violence.
Joab Sang was elected the vice chairman and Isaac Maiyo the treasurer Lile Sisimo was elected the organising secretary, Nicholas Nyakeri for youth affairs while Jonathan Keter will take charge of physically challenged. Eunice Karani is the women affairs representative and Magdalene Namwake her assistant. Joshua Sang promised to work with the new chairman.
