Investigators are looking for an ODM MP from North Rift who is said to be demanding part of the salaries due to employees of his parliamentary and constituency offices. It seems the man has got into the habit of taking 'a cut' of the wages due to these employees and has sacked those who refuse to give him some of their money. The MP came under scrutiny after he allegedly sent a text message to an employee demanding the money and threatening to sack him if he did not comply. The employee, incensed, decided to report the matter to the anti-corruption agency, which now wants to interview the MP.

A top Nairobi businessman known for his arrogance and penchant for young beauties caused consternation at a meeting when he turned his wrath on a known media personality. The man concluded the 10-minute rant by accusing the media personality of being an ODM hireling and challenging him to publicly declare his political persuasion instead of trying to hide it.

A senior official of the Kenya Scouts Association should have remembered the scouting motto, "Be Prepared", before he started allegedly mismanaging events and behaving in a less than savoury manner towards members of the movement. Our moles tell us that a meeting is due to be convened soon to discipline the man who, is lobbying hard against any  action being taken against him.

The presence of ODM MPs Rachel Shebesh and Joyce Laboso at Charity Ngilu's presidential bid launch may have been a show of moral support for one of their own as she ventures into the crowded field of those interested in the presidential seat. Our wags want to read more into the presence of Shebesh, who was resplendent in a flowery sky-blue skirt that matched Ngilu's and her declaration that “there is no other politician in this country who understands grassroots problems more than Charity.”
