According to Red Cross reports the bus was travelling to Nairobi CBD when it rammed into an oncoming private car. The bus rolled killing four of its passengers instantly.
Scores of other passengers are seriously injured and police on ground together with Red Cross volunteers are helping save the injured passengers from the salvage.
Traffic police commandant Patrick Lumumba has indicated that the number may rise as more passengers are still trapped in the salvage though a rescue mission is still ongoing.
