Monday September 3, 2012-Prime Minister Raila Odinga has endorsed his nephew Jaoko Oburu Odinga to be Muhoroni constituency ODM candidate, a thing which has brought major outcry among other ODM aspirants and Muhoroni electorate.
Jaoko, who is son of Assistant Finance Minister Dr Oburu Odinga, was endorsed on Monday after Prime Minister Raila Odinga visited the area.
Raila’s move, however, left ODM in a worse position than cementing its unity of purpose with which the party would use as the ladder in facing its combined forces of rival parties in the next year’s presidential, parliamentary, senate and civic elections.
Jaoko Oburu Odinga is the brains behind the formation of Friends of Raila Odinga (fora) campaign lobby group.
