Your Attitude and Your Words Could be the Problem

Your Attitude and Your Words Could be the Problem

Your Attitude and Your Words Could be the Problem
Have you ever wondered why many Believers who love God with all their heart are still facing struggle? Despite what the Word of God says about God blessing them, their situation keeps getting worse and more problems seem to flow into their lives. They end up feeling used by God for his purpose but nothing to benefit from.
Sometimes there are many challenges that we face but we also need God's hand on our lives as we serve him.
I have overheard these words many times: “When I pray for others they get their miracles but when I pray for myself I get nothing but troubles. When I do things for others it works but when I do things for myself nothing seems to work.
Listen, you are not alone. Prophet Jeremiah found himself in the same situation. Soon God confronted him and told him that his words and attitude were out of order.
Why is my pain unending and my wound grievous and incurable? Will you be to me like a deceptive brook, like a spring that fails?  (Jeremiah 15:18-21)
Could it be that it’s the same thing where you are concerned? Sometimes our encounter with God brings humility but we should not turn it to humiliation against ourselves.  There are so many types of destructions but the most dangerous type of destruction is self-destruction.  All types of sickness or diseases can be dealt with but doctors know very well when our body begins to destroy itself, there is nothing we can do. For example, cancer is a result of the body destroying itself.
God doesn't take self-destruction easily. When Prophet Elijah spoke words of worthlessness he was replaced with Elisha.  When Moses spoke words of worthlessness he saw the promise land, but was never allowed to enter it.
Sometimes we may face challenges beyond our expectation, we expect God to move and show his powers on our behalf in our circumstances, and when he doesn't show up we get even more frustrated. People have ended up losing so much and wonder does God really care? Is it worthy to serve him? But when you begin to harbor those thoughts and speak those negative words over your life just like Elijah then the cloud of heaviness and discouragement flows in to your life leaving you in the cave of darkness.
The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit (Proverbs 18:21)
But Just like Jeremiah your situation can turn around. God chose you:
Therefore this is what the Lord says: "If you repent, I will restore you that you may serve me; if you utter worthy, not worthless, words, you will be my spokesman. Let this people turn to you, but you must not turn to them. I will make you a wall to this people, a fortified wall of bronze; they will fight against you but will not overcome you, for I am with you to rescue and save you," declares the Lord. "I will save you from the hands of the wicked and redeem you from the grasp of the cruel. (Jeremiah 15:19-21)
There are 4 things that we must do that can make God restore us and not only use us but prosper us, fortify us and save us from every plan of the enemy.
