The MUTULA KILONZO threat messages SAGA

Tuesday, August 7, 2012 - The house help who had admitted to sending Education Minister Mutula Kilonzo threatening messages yesterday changed her plea at Milimani courts in Nairobi.

An investigative team had been given a period of time to investigate the case and proof if she was innocent or guilty. According to the team, the messages came from her mobile phone but they cannot proof if she wrote them.

Months ago Mutula presented the threatening text messages sent to him to Central Police station before presenting the case to parliament. The messages stated that the Minister will be killed and also his family.

A month ago 25 year old Irene Nduku Kasilu was arrested for sending the threatening messages and she pled guilty saying that her boss who has connections with the Al Shabaab militia had forced her to send the messages on June 26.

Nduku also claimed that her boss was also involved in the Nairobi Assanands house blast that claimed one life and left 38 others injured.

She was released on a bond of Sh. 300,000 and sureties of a similar amount.
