PRESIDENTIAL hopeful and Deputy Prime Minister Musalia Mudavadi will on Sunday sell his United Democratic party in Nairobi county. Mudavadi will attend an interdenominational Sunday service at the Gospel Revival Church in Kawangware at 10am and make stop-overs at Congo, Stage 2 and 56, and Gichangi on the way to Kangemi where he will open a UDF office and address a public rally Kihumbuni Stadium at 2pm.
Meanwhile, to intensify his ongoing outreach to all religious faiths, the DPM has been invited to attend mass at the Catholic Parish, Gaturi, Murang'a county, which is under Fr David Mbao, on August 12. In the past two weeks, Mudavadi has held meetings with the National Council of Churches of Kenya, the Imams in Mombasa and the Methodist Church. Yesterday, he held a meeting with Muslim civic leaders from Mandera county. The religious leaders have welcomed his message of peace, ethnic co-existence, unity and reconciliation.
