Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka says he will realise the dream envisaged by Kenya's founding fathers if elected president.
Mr Musyoka said his presidency will bring about prosperity, peace and a strong united country.
The VP said once Kenyans unite and pursue a common vision, then accelerated economic growth leading to wealth creation will be a reality.
"We have the natural resources, human capital and right foundation under the new constitutional dispensation to transform our nation in a very short time," he said when he opened the 47th Methodist Church of Kenya (MCK) Annual Conference at the Methodist Guest House and Conference Centre, Nairobi Thursday.
Mr Musyoka said he is committed to reclaiming the Kenyan dream by encouraging investors to put up businesses in Kenya.
He commended the Methodist Church for starting landmark development projects like the Kenya Methodist University (KEMU), hospitals and schools to name but a few, saying that they had been emulated by other organisations.
He urged religious organisations to inculcate national values among Kenyans in order to maintain peace and coexistence.
He urged all communities to settle their differences with the assistance of elders irrespective of the challenges that may exist and avoid revenge attacks.
“It is sad to see members of one community attacking their neighbours. We must live with another irrespective of where we come from for we are all Kenyans," the VP noted in his condolence message to Tana River and Mandera inter-clan clashes victims.
