Haha……Now Dr. WILLY Mutunga is in TROUBLE from Kibuchi

Wednesday August 22, 2012 - Nairobi PPO Antony Kibuchi has said he will sue Chief Justice Dr Willy Mutunga if he refuses to apologise to him in the next seven days.

Through his lawyer Cecil Miller, Kibuchi said he will sue the CJ for defamation for remarks he made during an annual Law Society of Kenya conference in Mombasa by claiming that he had referred to a court order as “tissue paper.”

The PPO denies uttering such words and was never served with a court order in the matter the CJ was referring to.

In his speech, Dr Mutunga accused the police boss of disregarding a court order stopping demolitions at Syokimau, Kyangombe, Mitumba and Eastleigh last year.

Kibuchi maintains that the words attributed to him by the CJ have portrayed him as a rogue police officer before right thinking members of the public, and one who is fond of disregarding court orders.

He also said that Mutunga depicted him as a corrupt officer who is only interested on looting and destroying public properties.

The case is now at the AG’s office.
