Former President Moi ordered to return LAND at Kabarak

Former President Moi ordered to return LAND at Kabarak

Thursday, the 9th of August 2012 - In a ruling that is sure to ignite plenty of talk, an Appeal court has just a few hours ago ordered retired President Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi to return the 100 acres of land on which Kabarak University stands to British settler Malcolm Bell.

The case is now going to attract a lot of attention especially since Kenyans will be curious to see how (if at all) the order will be put into effect.

The court’s ruling comes hot on the heels of several arrest warrants that have been issued against one of the retired president’s sons Philip Moi who has since then paid up alimony to his estranged wife Plauda.

Moi ruled Kenya for 24 years and is believed to still wield a lot of influence on the country’s political scene.
