DC comes to Raila’s defence
A DC yesterday stunned wananchi when he publicly defended PM Raila Odinga over accusations leveled by his former aide Miguna Miguna. Hamisi DC George Okello said Miguna's book, Peeling back the mask, is a ploy to tarnish the PM’s reputation. Okello, who was accompanied by the Siaya deputy mayor Maurice Korondo, was speaking during the opening of a multimillion-shilling Ushban clinic at Ohuru market, Siaya district. “We know that holiday-goers in Kenya mostly go to the coastal beaches but Miguna’s claim of going to Canada on holiday is a mere public gimmick,” added the DC amids cheers from the crowd.
