Wamalwa now goes for the OBAMA blessing

Tuesday July 24RD 2012- In the most bizarre move at the height of the next year’s election campaign, Eugene Wamalwa yesterday sought political blessings from US president Barrack Obama’s Grandmother Mama Sara Obama.

Eugene said that his move was inspired by Sara Obama’s struggle to support her grandson as a young man until he rose to become the president of the most powerful nation in the world. He said that he comes from a humble background and his life and aspiration related to the Obama’s goals.

“I am delighted to be associated with the granny who has blessings in her hands especially now that am seeking the presidential seat,’’ said the Minister for Justice and Constitutions Affairs.

Wamalwa was speaking at Kogelo in Siaya County where he had gone to visit Mama Sara. The local security personnel were not even aware of the visit. When sought for comment about Wamalwa’s visit to Obama’s grandmother, Silas Jirongo said that was a desperate move by Eugene to try to woe the votes of the Luo community and it was a definite flop.

Eugene Walmalwa is running for president in the next general election on a New Ford Kenya ticket.

In the recent past, however he said that he was willing that support any Luhya leader if one was chosen that had the support of all the Luhya community.
