WAITITU arrested – Jogoo Road demonstration

Friday, July 20, 2012 - News just in indicates that  Embakasi MP Ferdinard Waititu has been arrested by police in Nairobi as he led a demonstration earlier in the morning along Jogoo road.

This followed after a demonstration that was held yesterday by a group of youth branded Friends of Miguna, demanding the Prime Minister Raila Odinga to resign.

The Friends of Miguna were acting on the release of ‘Peeling Back the Mask’book launched on Saturday; the book has details on the many corruption deals by the Premier.

Waititu is however not new to be on the wrong side of the law as he had been arrested months ago after throwing stones at City Council as they were demolishing a building in Nairobi.
