Ruto to host aspirants of URP in Nairobi

Eldoret North MP William Ruto will today host United Republican Party aspirants for various seats in Nairobi. Ruto has convened the meeting at the Nyayo National Stadium this morning. URP chairman Francis Kaparo on Monday sent an invite to the aspirants to travel to Nairobi for the meeting dubbed national aspirants forum. "The URP chairman and secretariat invites all aspirants countrywide for a consultative forum at the Nyayo national stadium to be held in Wednesday from 8am," the invite read.
The Eldoret North MP and URP leadership will use the forum to assure the would be aspirants that the party is committed to free and fair nominations. All MPs allied to Ruto will also be at the meeting. He will also use the meting to outline the vision of URP. Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta moves north of the country as he takes his TNA gospel to Turkana county beginning tomorrow. He will be in Lokitaung for a leaders meeting and later rally tomorrow before moving to Kakuma on Friday. On Saturday, Uhuru will meet business and community leaders at Lodwar town and later address a rally.
