Phillip Moi on the RUN

Thursday, July 26, 2012 - A Nairobi court has issued an arrest warrant for Former President Daniel Moi’s son Phillip Moi following a child maintenance case filed by his estranged wife Rossana Pluda Moi. The amount of money owed to Pluda by Phillip has now accrued to Sh. 8 million.

Recently Phillip went to court and pled with the court to be declared bankrupt which the court however denied. Pluda appeared before the same court and thrashed the allegations by Phillip as just a plot to deny him her share of his diverse wealth.

According to Pluda, Phillip is not bankrupt and he recently bought a TV screen worth Sh. 750,000 and also installed a Jacuzzi worth Sh. 300,000 - a clear indication that he has money.

On Tuesday Phillip went to court again seeking for the court to reinstate the bankruptcy declaration but has since then went into hiding after the court ordered his arrest.

Muthaiga police boss has been summoned in court in connection with the same case because the court believes he failed to arrest Phillip when he was in Nairobi. The court has issued a countrywide arrest warrant now that there are suspicions that he may have left Nairobi.
