Philip Moi is now a GENTLEMAN

Friday July 13, 2012 - Former President Daniel Arap Moi’s son, Philip Moi, has now become a gentleman after he agreed to settle their family disputes with his estranged wife Rosanna Pluda out of court.

Appearing before Justice Joseph Mutava on Thursday, Moi and Pluda agreed to push their negotiations out of court and see whether they will hammer a deal before Monday.

The couple has been talking since Wednesday but had not reached a deal by Thursday as they appeared before the judge.

Rosanna and Philip requested for more time to see whether they can agree.

Details emerged that Rossana Pluda wants a house in South Coast or alternatively, he pays the outstanding maintenance fee which has now accumulated to Sh 8 million.

If Philip chooses to pay the fee, Pluda wants him to continue paying her a monthly maintenance fee of Sh 250,000 as directed by the court.

This positive move comes barely days after Justice GBM Kariuki reinstated a warrant of arrest against Philip for failing to pay the maintenance fee.
