Ojode’s widow JOINS POLITICS

Saturday July 28, 2012 - The window of former Assistant Minister for Internal Security Joshua Orwa Ojode has officially joined politics.
Mrs Mary Ojode on Friday announced her intention to stand in Ndhiwa’s by- election on September 17.
The Ndhiwa parliamentary seat fell vacant after the sad demise of her husband in a helicopter crash on June 10.
Ojode died together with Internal Security Minister Prof George Saitoti, two pilots and two security officers in the crash in Ngong hills.
The race for Ndhiwa seat has attracted more 32 candidates.
