I can’t wait to be Vice PRESIDENT – ODM’s Bett Sunday, July 15, 2012 - Not long ago there were rumors that Roads Minister Franklin Bett was in the process of ditching ODM for William Ruto’s United Republican Party (URP). The cabinet minister has finally spoken out and has declined the allegations saying he had no plans of leaving ODM as it is his party of choice. Speaking at a press conference, Bett termed the allegations as media and political propaganda to tarnish his name. He confidently added that he would still follow Raila’s party whether or not he is chosen to be his running mate. He proudly admitted that he is looking forward to serving Kenyan’s as the first Vice President in the new constitution era. Bett who has been in the party since it was formed expresses his confidence in the party as he said it is a reform based party and will bring a lot of development in Kenya once they win the elections come next year’s General Election.
