Fidel Odinga to WED on Saturday

Wednesday, July 25, 2012 - It all started as a rumor that Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s son – Fidel – was planning to marry his Eritrea girlfriend after he was seen being baptized at Orthodox church in Satelite Nairobi. It has now been confirmed that Fidel will tie the knot with his sweet heart Lwam Bekele after a year and half relationship with her.
The wedding will take place at the same church on July 28. This will be followed by a garden wedding at Windsor Golf Hotel and Country Club a week later.
Fidel is planning to make his second marriage commitment after he divorced his first wife Veronica Wanjiru Ng’ang’a on claims that they had irreconcilable differences.
There were controversies when Fidel married Veronica who hails from Central region in the run up to the 2007 General Elections. Some cynics saw it as a ‘marriage de convenience.’ That is French for marriage of convenience as many thought that the dynasty of the Odinga’s hooking up to the ‘House of Mumbi’ was strictly for political mileage. However the two insisted they were in love but later divorced in a fierce civil suit with Fidel claiming that the differences were irreconcilable.
Now it seems he has found new love and we hope it lasts.
Well we wish the love birds a happy marriage.
