An MP, who was in a delegation to an Asian country, caused a ruckus at the hotel where they were staying when he accused the staff of stealing his money from the safe. The man demanded to be provided with a second safe. The MP claimed he put US$7,000 in the second safe but that too went missing. Instructed to open the two safes by the police who were called in to investigate the matter, the MP was mortified to find the money in one of the two safes. He was even more embarrassed to admit the amount he claimed "stolen" was not US$7,000 but actually US$5,900!

The matter was raised when Onyancha, the URP organising secretary, accompanied Uhuru on his recent rallies in Kisii.

She said her efforts to popularise the party are neither appreciated nor recognised and that she will consider decamping if she continues to be ignored and frustrated.
