A vocal political activist allied to ODM might just have to appear before the anti-graft agencies after his road construction company failed to complete a road for which he had recieved Sh60 million. Our moles tell us the man had the east task of clearing the drains and vegetation along the Nairobi-Mombasa highway. It seems the work is yet to be done the Roads ministry is getting restive especially as the man has already pocketed the whole amount!

AN MP from western Kenya, known for his ascorbic wit may have finally met his match! Last weekend, the man was a guest at the Nairobi home of one of the presidential aspirants. last weekend when he was thrown out of presidential candidate's Nairobi home. The unexpected arrival of the MP was not taken kindly by the aspirant's wife who wasted no time in telling him off for disturbing her husband's and family's peace. She was not convinced that the MP had arrived to discuss political strategy and accused the MP of ]taking advantage of her husband to get money for campaigns in the name of political strategy.

Organisers of the Kisumu show were not fazed when National Assembly Speaker Kenneth Marende's bodyguards insisted that they had to enter the VIP Cafeteria where their charge was enjoying his lunch. Their pleas to be allowed fell on deaf ears and it was only after the intervention of journalists present who vouched for the bodyguards were they allowed into the cafeteria.

Housing minister Soita Shitanda's decision to sack senior officers over the NHC houses scandal may be a case of too little too late. One of the officers reportedly fired by Shitanda on Tuesday actually retired in January with full benefits and pension! The man is among those who allocated himself several of the NHC houses.
