An MP who was very call during the recent infighting in the Orange party has suddenly gone quiet after he realized that his finances were taking a beating because of his utterances. The two cars the man has been running have been grounded due to mechanical problems which he has been unable to fix and which has forced him to rely on taxis. Last week, the man reached his nadir when he failed to get a loan of Sh20,000 from a minister whose financial situation is only slightly better than his!

Embakasi MP Ferdinand Waititu's hopping from party to party seems to have caused him some confusion. The man seemed not to realize the correct acronym of his current party which is The National Alliance.Emceeing during the official opening of the party's offices at Promiso Plaza, Waititu kept on referring to TNA as NTA. His audience did not seem to notice the goof and kept on widely cheering when he urged them to support NTA!
===
Still on TNA, some wily wags have quickly coined their own meaning of the acronym. While it is the vehicle of choice for Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta who aspires to be president, the wags have coined a new meaning for TNA—Tuko Na Agwambo (We are with Agwambo)!

Among those tendering for work at the IEBC is a local computer firm associated with powerful individuals in the political and business spheres. What has raised eyebrows is that the company is owned by the same individuals who were directors in another company that was disqualified and blacklisted from doing business with Parliament or any other public institution!
