Senior provincial administration officers are at loss with what action to take against one of their senior colleagues in Meru who has taken 150 days leave and traveled to Molo, But he is not alone— the man granted two of the administration policemen attached to his office leave for 150 days so that they can be at his beck and call even when he is on leave! The two APs did hand over their weapons to the armoury as is the practise whenever they go on leave. All this is being funded by the taxpayers.

The allies believe the symbol— a leopard— may be taken too literally and harm his chances if he becomes the party's presidential candidate. A woman motorist driving a metallic silver Toyota Vitz registration number KBP 265J rammed into a car at the Village Market. Instead of coming out to see the damage she had caused or even responding to requests that she give her details for purposes of insurance, the woman drove off, claiming she was the wife of the Danish ambassador and therefore enjoys diplomatic immunity!
