The première and launch of the new Christian film commissioned by the makers of the famous Jesus Film will premiered on Saturday at Prestige Plaza.
The guest of honour Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka said the movie will inspire a lot of people and preach peace in various Africa countries. And was impressed by the depth of talent that was exhibited by the all-Kenyan cast.
Walking with Jesus is a Christian film shot on location at Mboi Kamiti in Kiambu by Cinematic Solutions and Life Ministry Kenya.
The film features top Kenyan actors and personalities like John Sibi, Paul Ramtu, Lucy Nyaga, Lydia Gitachu and Ainea Ojiambo.
The movie will be used as tool to teach lessons from the Bible and is targeted at students. It uses the 'African angle' where the characters who have 'seen the light', deal with personal issues like polygamy, witchcraft and gang oaths.
The movie will be used as a follow up of the Jesus Film that was screened in 200 countries and translated over 1000 times.
