RAlia bashed the Ruto Twins - He out them where they belong fair and square. Ruto Samoei loves to be ranked up there with Amoolo, Uhuru and Kibaki. In reality, he ranks huko with Julius Sunkuli, Kabando wa KAbando, Naomi Shaaban and MAkwere. Forcing big league when you are small fry just doesn't cut it.
ReplyDeleteAre you sure Ruto lost? Why would a whole prime minister with a lead in the polls fight with someone who has nothing to lose since they have already lost? Ruto knows that Hague will probably affect his chances. He is doing all he can to get a leader that will easily deport him and will take care of his interests just in case of the trial goes bad. Raila has everything to lose if he doesn't play his cards right. Attacking the NO leaders on the constitution is attacking the NO voting block both church and ruto's supporters. YES camps’s 68% vote victory in the referendum was a consolidation of several voting blocks. Kibaki's, Martha's, Saitoti's, Uhuru's, Makwere's, Balala'S, Muslims, Kalonzo's supporters were all in there.
ReplyDeleteWhen he asks that leaders who did not support the constitution should not be voted for which in effect is attacking the people who said NO to the constitution (not because they did not want a new constitution but because they felt the constitution needed time to amend the issues which according to it would need another referendum) he means also christian political leaders who fought the constitution. So though he attacked Ruto and seems to win, he may have made a move that MAY cost him in the long run.
He came out as someone who is not democratic like someone who would say that if you voted against him then you should not have a say on his government in anyway. The legislature is one of the few places where people with differing views can gather and run government. How does he say that leaders who said no should not be voted in?
