MEMBERSHIP AND POLITICAL PROGRAMS
From the Muranga meeting, it was decided that the SGC will be a representation of all who want real change. SGC chose 3 different sub committees where:- the membership subcommittee is to come up with categories of members with different fees structure to be paid by end of January.

Coordinating committee was assigned the task of looking at issues that come up. It is to be like the think tank.

Visibilty committee which is to make sure that one must be heard, seen and felt everywhere.

G47 organ must be able to accommodate all and once registered it will be used as a movement until we register our party.

We must begin looking for a political party and negotiate with it and the party chosen must be willing to let G47 take over and change its constitution to fit all.

We will also get a manifesto that believes in social democracy and thereafter sign an MOU together.

It was suggested that G47 should sponsor candidates through political parties but should be able to recall back the candidates and that for those who do not merit but have numbers should not be discouraged.

A.O.B

A suggestion to come up with a 10 point statement of intent was floated.

We were also asked to encourage the enactment of campaign finance bill in our forums. It can be found in CIC website.

-
G47 program should be ready by the next meeting but political programs on connecting with the people should not wait for the committee.
